Restoran Abalone Master Yong (Taman Molek)

I finally ventured into Taman Molek, near Taman Johor JayaTaman Molek houses a golf resort Ponderosa,  a famous steamboat buffet, Indonesian food gems and many other foodies to their local community. I personally named Taman Molek and Johor Jaya, the "Twin sisters of undiscovered chinese food gems" as Singaporeans are often too attracted towards Taman Sentosa and forgotten the goodness of other town centres nearby. To me, Taman Sentosa has become too commercialised with Singaporeans for my liking.

The restaurant I want to recommend today is Restoran Abalone Master Yong. To be frank, Master Yong is very much similar in taste and price to Restoran 59 (the famous supper place where Singaporeans flock to for supper and nearby outlets for car wash). The main difference is that Master Yong offers other innovative abalone dishes, in addition to their abalone noodles and the ambience is also more present. Restoran 59's advantage is that it is open from 7 pm till late night and it is near to a car wash. Taste wise, both outlets are really too similar.

Pig Trotters failed according to my Mum.
Thank God, the noodles made up for it!

You can order Kuay Teow as an alternative.

Must Try, the Mamee chicken is superb!
First Time I tried fried abalone slices.
Great taste but too chewy.

Total Price for a family of 4 adults and 1 kid (4 bowl of noodles and 2 side dishes)
: S$35.
(Just right, nothing to shout about)
