Items to bring - Umbrellas, Orange Triangle and Jackets

1. Try to stop at the road shoulder. Placed an orange triangle far far away at the back.

2. Go faraway from your car. In fact, go near the bushes/climb up the green slopes if possible to avoid getting into an accident on the road. Many trucks and bikes and cars like to "zoom" on the road shoulder. Bring along your umbrellas and jackets in case it rain.

3. Dial the PLUSLINE toll free number : 1800 88 0000.
4. If your mobile phone has no roaming services, you can use the Emergency telephones located at 2-km  intervals along the Expressway. For Iphone users, I will teach you how to set to Malaysia Telecom at a later part.

5. Call them and you will be asked to provide the following information:
  • your name and telephone number
  • your location (just look for the nearest km-marker)
  • the type of assistance you require, the type of vehicle you are driving and the registration no.

Km-marker
6. Reject any help from any motorist. If you can, do move to a sheltered area if possible. Wait for a yellow vehicle with the word "Police Bantuan".

7. All the best.
